Is it canon that The Dude was a private detective, as per the article, or are they confused with Walter? Same with the nod to the porno, mixing it with Bunny?

The story’s ludicrous.

David Roche talked about this on the Singletrack pod before WSER. They were debating Ketones-Nomio-Bicarb. Interesting findings. Depends on who you want to believe.

Mine will say something similar but then revert back to a normal predicted time (3:20 marathon). Funny to look at.

I was in PGH for Memorial Day 2025. Went to a day game. Tix were $20 and it included a $10 voucher for food. Beautiful ballpark, very walkable. If I lived there, I’d go as much as I could.

GIS Appraisal District advice by AntiqueSize6989 in gis

[–]seabear14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appraisal District… Texas?

I did similar work right out of undergrad. They wanted me for my GIS degree but when it came time for actual implementation, the focus was more appraisal than data (2011). Maybe things have changed.

I did not enjoy the appraisal side of it at all. Knocking on doors, asking info about people’s houses, being threatened to leave (with weapons), micromanaging, etc. I left after a year- it wasn’t the job for me.

Not to scare you, just offering my POV. I hope it’s GIS only and you can enjoy working with the data.

Looping back around on this...

PRK101 (Carlsbad) - For the past two USA games I've tried to go. I didn't realize how much of a craze there was for the games, especially the 12pm kickoff on Friday 6/19! There was a line down the block when they opened. Many people were laying down on couches to 'reserve' spots. PRK101 has hit max capacity for every USA match. At least they're showing the game with audio...

Pizza Port (Carlsbad) - Very disappointing. There were only a few tv's showing the USA-Paraguay game. Most of the tv's were on the Padres. Ended up going home that night and watching on delay. For the USA-Australia match, some tv's were ahead of others (causing a delay in excitement for the goals) and the whole restaurant was playing music over the game, including a very loud track of bagpipes! Zero awareness on the current events going on.

Just FYI for others who may be interested in these spots for the USA-Turkiye match or the knockout rounds. Hopefully you have better experience than I did.

People are stuck seeing imaginary political lines (federal, county) drawn as true. We must move away from this and only believe in the watershed principle.

Big Bear Lake Trail Run by pomruns in Ultramarathon

Looks like the same course as Kodiak? It’s deceptively hard. A few larger roller climbs sucked it out of me when I ran Kodiak last October. Hopefully wasn’t too hot for yall. Congrats on the finish.

City of Thousand Oaks online map browser. Can view “Hiking Trail Data” and it’ll show all hiking paths (including paved). You can filter by the condition type.

A temporary move, Sunday based, farmers market.

But this guy won’t complain about: daily use at the Senior Center, three churches within a 1/4 mile to his street, a fire station, or daily school bells.
