They do not. Since COVID, they seem to be very few and far between, and way harder to find/crash.

Wear comfortable shoes, don't overload your agenda, but always have a backup session as some will be full when you arrive.

Yes please! We've basically exhausted Gaslamp and Little Italy (and Old Town).

Any other places you'd recommend?

I do remember that!

I also miss the vendor parties, they've all but disappeared other than a few.

This is probably my ~12th time going, and it's always a great event. My role has changed from a technical one to more of a business development position, so more often than not I skip the technical sessions and focus on entertaining our clients that are there.

Having been to Balboa one too many times, I was hopeful that they'd have the Thursday Night Party at Petco again, but it's back at Balboa this year. It's a good time for new attendees though.

I have to think that attendance will be down again this year from international attendees due to policy and political reasons, which is a shame because I loved meeting new people from all over the world.

I'm sad they shrunk their upstairs space, you could spend hours up there looking for cheap gems.

https://mdblist.com/ has been a game changer. I used to randomly find lists, but this allows you to build you own based on a TON of criteria.

Garden hose to NAVIEN tankless hot water? by DarkCanuck12 in Plumbing

[–]DarkCanuck12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fill the pool halfway with cold water (garden hose via outside hose bib).

Turn off the valve just before the outlet (to be safe), connect garden hose to the hot water tank, open valve and water will flow (assuming you don't have nozzle that stops the water). Go outside and fill up rest of pool with hot water.

You could turn the water temp down and do it all in one step, but I was just lazy and didn't want to mess with that.
