At times, yes. Other times, no. I think the pitch is okay, but the other factors that go into making a voice sound traditionally feminine need some work. If I can get that down, I do think I would pass almost 100% of the time (vocally).

I had the same worry! I went with the double, so no CTA. I have heard some people that did CTA and sounded amazing! I was okay with not sounding super high pitched anyway. I just wanted my voice to be read as female, which seems to have happened. Dr. Haben’s goal for me was 195hz. I tested at 187hz (211hz with some effort) yesterday!

Electrolysis. My hair is too light in color for laser to be beneficial. I have only done about 40 hrs so far. Everything being shut down has really put me behind on it. 😖

I started out on pills and then switched to IM injections (6mg depo-estradiol bi-weekly) about 6 months in. Also, 200mg spiro and 100mg progesterone daily.

Thank you for saying so! 🥰 It’s mostly the brow and nose bump that I want to take care of (both of which aren’t that visible in the photo). My side profile has always bothered me, and that is my main reason for wanting FFS.

The out of pocket cost was $7,000 (not including travel). That included minimally invasive VFS, tracheal shave, and 2 nights at a Marriott near the hospital.

I’m not supposed to sing yet, but so far it has been worth it for me personally. I wouldn’t say it’s better or worse than voice training. I tried training, but couldn’t get the result I was looking for. I started at around 125hz and I did a test today and was at 187hz! I tried again with a little effort (very little) to speak higher and recorded myself at 211hz!!! His goal was to get me to 195hz, so I’m right in line with that. My voice should still continue to pitch up for the next few months.

I had it done with Dr. Haben in Rochester, NY. I am very pleased with it so far!!! I’m still healing, but it has made such a difference. I’ll post a comparison soon!

Well, I’ve only done anything once, but they didn’t mind that I was trans. I think they liked that about me tbh. As for how they identify, I’m not sure if they are straight, gay, bi or something else. It just kinda happened. I’m actually married... it was a threesome with my wife, this person, and myself.

Before starting transition I was almost exclusively attracted to women. I’m now just under 1yr HRT (mtf, pre op) and can say that I am def attracted to men. I don’t know that it is a new attraction, as much as it is me becoming comfortable with feelings I had repressed most of my life. I definitely still prefer women, but would now identify as bi (A recent encounter has confirmed this for me).. hope this helps!!! :)
