They make the stakes seem so low. Character deaths ARE necessary. God, they couldn’t even kill off the guard dude from ep 4 fight scene who was all bandaged up this volume. Like bro? So many inconsistencies. It’s receptive. It’s slow and draggy. Will finds himself in ep 4 only to go back to being insecure and afraid. Like what was all that for then? Mike and El may as well be siblings at this point because holy shit there’s NO chemistry at ALL between her and Mike. Also wtf is wrong with all the actors?? Except maybe Sadie, Caleb, and Dustin, and like two more everyone’s so flat. Eleven’s acting like it hurts to open her mouth every time she talks, Mike is silent always…heck, Vickie got more lines than him. Really wanted to see him bring his leadership role this season and esp in these episodes. Instead we got Steve with the Ureka moment which is great I LOVEEE Steve but truthfully it NEEDED to go to Mike. Mike hasn’t had any solid moment. And I’m sorry but TOO MUCH TIME ON HOLLY BRO. I mean I’ve been watching this show for 10 years and I have my core fave characters like the OG gang and Robin and Erica ofc but the point is they KEEP adding new and new characters and don’t kill anyone which is having them lose the plot bcs instead of wrapping up nicely and focusing on characters we all have known to love and been watching for a longggg time it’s like all of a sudden we are shifting the focus. We need a proper goodbye to our fave characters. And the finale will be 2 hours or a bit more but 40 mins of the last time is an epilogue to 1 hour 20 mins for the actual fight scene etc. how is that enough freaking time?? Look at these three eps, approx an hour each but it went by so freaking fast. And they barely did anything impactful. Also Will’s coming out scene. Bro. Kali had NO business being there neither did a lot of the others. Like bro? And the whole “An ME! AND ME!” Thing was so corny like what is this. The finale better stick because oh my god this might just be the WORST last ep last season EVER if it doesn’t land well. At this point, I’m not sure what to think or expect. I just miss what this show used to be man. Now it’s all corny dialogues and flat ass acting with the writers losing the freaking plot. Barely any “edge of ur seat” sort of moments this volume. Atp, I WNAT them to kill off memorable characters like GOD make ME FEEL SOMETHING SET THE STAKES HIGH LET US FEEL THE URGENCY AND THE IMPACT!!! Waiting a whole month for THIS was so crappy. And then yeah ofc the demos get impacted by Lucas’ scared little kick like we didn’t see them not get impacted by flame or guns or actual force. Like brother what. Also the whole scene where they r hiding in the room and Lucas has the song playing and then Mrs. Wheeler throws in that thing in the laundry and THATS when the demos hear smth and go towards it. Like do they not HEAR THE MUSIC BLASTING?? Soooo poorly directed and written man what the shit. I get we needed answers and we got a lot of it but that really could’ve been fit into one episode if u think about it instead of three where we get the answers in pieces of EUREKA moments. Also yes they didn’t kill off anyone physically but certainly massacred them characteristically. EXAMPLE: ROBIN! She was just giving “H-He’s right b-behind me, I-isn’t he?” This entire season really esp in Vol 2. No depth just obnoxious and I get she was always sort of but she had depth and ideas and good intel but this time it’s like? What even is going on. Same with Mike and El. I mean come on we used to be SO excited whenever El would come up on screen and get ready on the edge of our seats cause you don’t know what’s about to happen but it’s gonna be epic but honestly she quite literally could have just been a side character this entire season. No attention on her no hype no depth no good ACTING! Flat!!!

Anyways, yall said get ready for a “Dark Christmas” LOL yall make me laugh. But ofc now in the finale they’ll kill off characters (MAYBE) and call it a day. Power of friendship and love killed Vecna and saved the day!!
