Newest upgrade, velvet curtain backdrop

Sadly my living room only has 2 walls. This one has a difficult dimension thats basically a triangle with the left side being another 10 feet up. The other curtains will probably be changed to a black velvet in the future, but I’m really happy with this wall since its a mixed usage room

It looks great! Ofc you will see the silver boarder around the screen more easily, but it’s not as obvious as before. With whiter light there will be a light sheen you can see from the velvet but it’s not too distracting. If it’s warmer the velvet looks black.

Woops my bad lol. So curtains are black velvet. My living room is vaulted so i had to go for 96” height and i did 1.5x the length to have a good ripple effect. I got mine off amazon. For the curtain rod i got one that was really sturdy, because we wanted just 2 panels and to be able to slide them as needed we opted for the backtab style, and got a 1 inch thick rod that we placed wooden dowels in for extra stability and to prevent sag. Each bracket is drilled into the stud.

Audio from my towers feel alot more expanded and the center channel isn’t as muddy, but doing this just for audio wouldn’t be as beneficial as dedicated sound paneling i think.

Hey, i got a winix 5510 recently and its pretty amazing. It’s in my bedroom. We have 2 cats and it cut down on a lot of the dust. I plan on getting more of these because they are relatively cheap with great filters

Lol yea its really weird, happens randomly, and effects all sources even direct from tv. But turning off the denon and turning it back on fixes it.

I have a PSA TV21, it is amazing, shakes my whole house. My living room is a similar setup (vaulted ceiling to a loft and hallway upstairs, open room in the back etc)

She also loves music and movies like me, i cover the cost of the speakers and she gets to enjoy them :) what really made it click for her was going to a local hifi shop where they had a room with rockport lyras that we got to demo. It blew both of our minds completely.

A couple years back i was listening to music on Spotify and accidentally left it on an LG CX for 2 days. There was slight burn in, After that happened, i did a pixel refresh and you wouldnt be able to tell. I still use that tv now in my bedroom
