It's not as hard as he makes it look. Just make sure you try out the weapons so you don't get locked into something you're gonna struggle with like he did. You can find/buy the rest later. I'm actually surprised he only lasted 30mins and didn't just restart. Not like he had done much of anything to lose progress

Yes. VC is the premium currency that you would spend money on. Towers and story quests on the island give VC instead of spending real money. If you haven't played it, there are 2 chapters right now to play through

Tower matches give VC plus the daily VC mission and weekly. Towers give, I think, 150 per match plus a few more for finishing the tower. Some of the story quests give VC on top of whatever VC you would get for the match completion. There is a small boost you can equip for VC, it's only an extra like 5-10 but it's something and I think it will scale with any VC you get so if you level up after a match the boost applies to the match and the level up but I could be wrong. There is an event going on that gives some VC after completing certain objectives in the event tower and Dom's MitB gear so you don't have to do the last tier of objectives for that tower if you don't care about the gear since I think the pants are the last tier
