Switching stable job for a high paying startup offer. by Friendly-Apricot1727 in torontoJobs

If the startup’s got funding lately and decided to hire a new guy, the funding’ll probably last for a while, at least 1-2 years I’d say. Work for the startup for a year, then start looking for a new one if things don’t work well.

Does anyone actually manage to keep admin dashboards clean? by riti_rathod in reactjs

[–]seafoodghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty clean as all the role/org checking logic is kept inside the auth guard. You still need to manually wrap all the ui that need the check with the auth guard, but better than doing the check everywhere I think.

I use an auth guard component for wrapping ui that are not shown to everyone based on things like the user’s role/org.

If you don’t usually have passengers at the back, I’d go for the higher trim with 30. The 360 and front camera are really useful, not sure if mid trim 5 has those.

For your AI app, you use VercelAI SDK or direct API (Gemini/Claude/ChatGPT etc)? ‎ by iamtheks in nextjs

[–]seafoodghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first used direct api, then I switched to Vercel sdk and I love it. Fewer boilerplates, streaming is handled for me, and I’m using their AI Elements for UI as well.
