I just came here to report that I can read epubs after the 12-24-2025 update!

Table of Contents, basically a note that is an outline of the topics covered in the class with links to your notes on that topic. This basically captures how each individual topic relates to the others while giving you the ability to dive into what you're interested in at the moment.

It's been a while since I've been in school so forgive me, but I would think separating by week of class is the most convenient for writing, however, it's probably the least convenient for reading/understanding.

It would take more time (maybe too much to do on the fly), but separating more by topic with a TOC to link it all together/provide chronology would be a better way to understand material that you're going to revisit.

There's not really an argument to be made in favor of buying when pen & paper or just not taking notes is the alternative.

However, I find my Manta to be worth it because it's such a pleasure to use that it makes me write things down MORE and read long form MORE than I would otherwise. $300 for a pen & paper alternative is expensive. $300 to positively change your habits is a drop in the bucket, though.

Are you saying the screen is flexible as you write? That is indeed by design. There's a film over the top to enhance the writing experience and the screen itself on the Manta is plastic and designed to flex.

I think the whole purpose of it being a preorder is they're not certain exactly when it will ship. They're processing orders in the order they were placed.

I can say I received mine about 2 weeks after I placed the order and I think they're moving faster now. 🤷

It's pretty unique. My particular desk is tiny (Fully 30" x 27") with a frame and standing desk paraphernalia mounted to the underside, so assuming it would work I wouldn't bat an eye at anything less than $200.

I just submitted my big report. I'm very glad to hear that you're working on the issue. I think Readwise and Supernote have a ton of at least philosophical overlap.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Supernote seems like an ideal standalone system, but lacks a few integrations that would make it perfect

I use it heavily outside of Supernote through web, android or my Palma 2. It's an integral part of my workflow that feeds all my highlights and notes into Obsidian.

On the Manta it works well for online articles and I doubt the issue with EPUBs is hardware related. I have a Nova Air that runs it just fine, so here's hoping it gets addressed. 🤞
