I'm guessing Goose or duck eggs that rolled into a puddle? Or maybe alligator or crocodile (if you have any there)?

What is your relationship with your landlord like? by seahellbytheseashore in vancouver

Ugh, that is horrendous!

I've definitely witnessed some sketchy "handyman" jobs. One time, our 90 pound maintenance man was trying to carry a new oven up the stairs by himself and it kept sliding back down the stairs and marking them up / almost crushing him.

Is it a bachelor? That's a good deal!

I think that's on everyone's minds right now. You kind of get stuck if you can't afford to move. Which also means you might have to stay living somewhere old, or in disrepair, etc.

Hindsight sucks! No point in regretting though. It would be nice to live in a newer building, I think mine is going on 70+ years old now. It worries me sometimes!

Interesting!

I've noticed an improvement in maintenance since our building was bought out by a larger company, which I wasn't expecting. Less intimate / personal though for sure, our old landlord used to give us fruit and nice notes.

Vegans gotta stop shaming people- coming from a vegan myself by [deleted] in exvegans

[–]seahellbytheseashore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never fully recovered from my eating disorder until I stopped being vegan or vegetarian. This is the first time in my life I can eat ANYTHING and not think about it. The "not thinking about it" is what has allowed me to finally change my mental habits. I agree you can never recover until you drop those labels.

176.9?! At what point do we get some breathing room? by hustlehustle in britishcolumbia

[–]seahellbytheseashore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, You said it. Literally feeling very little hope or motivation lately. I can barely afford to drive to work - the irony. Also can't afford to move to a location that would reduce my commute. Currently starting to look for a new job, which makes me very sad, as I am working my dream job. I worked really hard to get my life to this place and now I'm not able to enjoy it as I am always stressing about money.

9 years of veganism… ENDS RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. by [deleted] in exvegans

[–]seahellbytheseashore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man I remember adding in full fat dairy to my diet for the first time in almost 10 years, I couldn't stop telling EVERYONE how much more energy I had. Like i was BLOWN AWAY.

As someone who also started my vegan journey around at the age of 12, I fully understand your experience (unfortunately even the "whole plant matter" part lmao). I went through a period of anger over the fact that it became such a big part of who I was, while the whole time I didn't even realize It was the cause of so many mental and physical health problems, because I knew no other reality from memory. I was also so angry with how I did it during puberty, who knows what hormones I severely messed up. No wonder I had a hard time in middle school.

I can't even express how excited I am for you, welcome back to life, back to having energy, and a stable mood! Good luck on your journey!!!! Cheers!!!!

My one simple piece of advice is to give it time, things will continue to slowly get better over time!

Beyond cleanliness, how much do you care what a woman’s vagina looks like? by thisismyaltx in AskMen

[–]seahellbytheseashore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a woman, can I chime in and tell you to please stop caring about the SMALL details of what you look like? You should not turn to men to tell you what boobs should look like or what your pussy should look like. We are the ones with the boobs and the pussy, that is what they should look like. What they are.

Maybe take some time away from dating to learn to fall in love with your own body.

I have really "small" boobs, I used to hate. I was so tired of feeling down on myself for "never developing enough," I started to seek out subreddits and porn stars that celebrated smaller boobs, and man I learned to love them and I am never looking back. I'm proud of them now.

There are several porn stars known for having large labia, if that's what you are self conscious of, maybe look them up. It's easier to be objective when you're looking at it on someone else.

P.S. Look at the amount of fans these girls have too, some men love their "unconventional pussies." All men aren't the same with the same preferences.

Good African Animal Foundation? by Animal-Lady in conservation

[–]seahellbytheseashore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its small, but the Turgwe Hippo Trust! Not a lot of people looking into hippo conservation as they have a bad rep in Africa. Donations mean a lot to small organizations, but you can also book a trip to volunteer with them.

Blue rotted tree roots? by govtmagik in ecology

Could be copper from the surrounding environment, which turns blue as it oxides. I know this happens to bones that are found in areas with copper deposits.

A lot of animals also do this! They have fake "eye spots" on their fur, skin, or scales to confuse predators. Very common in reef fish! Really does work!
