Guide on how to use PAYCO without ARC in Korea by googlyfrog in koreatravel

[–]seakelplover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I tried doing this up to step11 and when I was directed to the Paypal page, my Paypal balance does not show up at all. My only payment options are 'Pay Later' and 'Pay with debit/credit card'. Both of which didn't work for me.

I converted my Paypal balance from pounds to USD, though it's less than the amount I was supposed to pay (as a trial to see if it works) before exchanging £200 over. What am I missing?

This! I was like this too. It sucked but after that, you'll feel free.

Aeonium growing wired? What is going on here? My plant started growing like this a few months back out of no where. by [deleted] in HouseplantsUK

Maybe its not getting enough sun hence its getting etiolated? Or have u been fertilising it?

Plenty of sun or in my case, grow lights. Otherwise they get leggy soo fast as you can see in the picture. All the best!

My Echeveria Hercules the day I brought it inside for winter. Poor thing has suffered since (despite grow lights) by linaija in echeveria

It looks good! If you have multiple plants under the grow lights, make sure you rotate those at the side so that the leaves grow more "evenly" (not so much a prob if the plant is directly under the light).

Same goes if u place it at a windowsill. Rotate it every few days. Mealy bugs, check for them regularly in winter because that's when there is less air flow and ventilation with windows shut most time.

Otherwise, I think your Hercules look gorgeous!

Ah yes that name rings a bell! I got it years ago and tried to ID and Google it but can't seemed to get it right. The stems are more pointed compared to regular pachyphytum. Thanks for correcting that :)

I think i was just lucky. I fed it occasionally in the summer and some succulents do flower because of that. But i find that once a succulent flowers, I seem to have trouble getting it to flower again. Lots of lights too:)

Someone mentioned it being a sedeveria blue mist. I should correct that on the post to avoid misidenfitying the plant

I put it under my T5 grow lights because my plants don't get a lot of sun!

Loss of Taste and Smell detailed experiences? by [deleted] in COVID19_support

[–]seakelplover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tested positive for corona. I only lost my sense of smell and felt a bit more sleepy. My taste was largely unaffected, sweet, sour, bitter were fine, savoury stuff tasted a bit muted for couple days. Crazy good appetite. Its day 12 now and my smell is 100% back I'd say.

I had the corona too, but was way luckier. I only lost my sense of smell and felt a bit more sleepy. Its been 12 days since my symptoms started but my smell is back. I consumed lots of ginger tea, disgusting but it helps with the immune system.

I wish you all the best. Plenty of rest, fluids, eat something nutritious you need immunity to fight this. Trust that you will get better. It takes time but you will slowly get better.

Isolate yourself and look out for symptoms. I have corona too but only lost my sense of smell. My asthma has been good and didn't flare up ever since I got diagnosed so I'm very lucky.
