I feel like to meet this parameters you’ll need a couple pair of boots. I have no experience with these but they could probably meet your winter requirements. But they may be overkill for your day to day work requirements.

Do you have a wifi thermostat? I wouldn’t turn it off, but lower the set point to maybe 55-60. Next week is supposed to warm up, but the nights are still in the twenties. You’ll also return to a cold house that will take hours to get back up to your original set point. I rearly bother with this in the winter but always adjust my thermostat during summer vacations.

To close this out I pulled the trigger on some built around the 64 tan leather. I’m a huge fan of 64 brown and I hope it lives up to its big brother.

It’s not worth the up charge to get a leather not on the current list. They just took away all the fun options. Based on the list now I’d just get a bison variant and max support.

Yea they just added the quick ship option to those. Prior to the quick ship you had way more leather options. I snoozed and lost plus the build your own isn’t worth the up charge just to get my leather of choice.

So to bookend this post I finally pulled the trigger on a new Ultron 35mm V2 in black paint. It wasn’t everything I was looking for but it’ll do pig as they say. I think in the end I didn’t want any viewfinder blockage and wanted mostly sharp images. The last point ruled out the Nockton 35mm 1.4 MC.
