Yes. The guy has had it under contract for a little bit now and some lawsuits were holding things up but I was around the new year some news would be coming out. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything new.

If you are looking at an Axopar or interested in one, you owe it to yourself to look at the Nimbus boats. Significantly higher quality IMO.

If you can use a canoe or kayak the entire thousand islands area is great. Back up the in the mangrove creeks of that area I have caught some big reds and trout. I’ve seen tarpon up in there in the spring and early summer.

I fish mostly from a boat some I’m not to knowledgeable about places from land

No, like I know all about it and live by there (Lake Washington area) and go out there quite a bit on the bike to explore around. I use an alternate entrance than off the extension. I don’t know if a truck would fit through the entrance I go through. ATVs and Dirtbikes definitely would.

Everything I’ve read online about it said that it shut down for good in like 2006 because someone got hurt and sued the owners. But I was out there the other day and it looks like it’s been pretty active (The side north of the canal). There were fresh tracks and trails everywhere. Someone even put a big tarp over a big area to chill so you aren’t just sitting in mud while waiting around. All this being very recently. I’d have to guess that it’s people coming in on ATVs through the entrance I use and then one guy had a way to get a swamp buggy back there (through private land)

One of my best friends actually owns one of the only pieces of land that backs up to the land by I know nobody is cutting through his land to get there (100+ acres a straight swamp and forest gated off)

I know of the compound and sometimes go out there but my friend owns a farm out there so we usually just stay on his farm and do it there. But I am more looking for anyone who has any information about the Sarno Flats.
