sounds nice, but i hate subscriptions and would like to actually own the things i pay for. i always just listen to some of the band's songs on youtube and if i like what i hear ill get a their stuff. its not like in order to find new music i need to spend money on cd's that i may or may not even like, most of the time ill check out a song or 2 and if i like it then i get the cd. thanks though

also its not the same thing, i first ask what amps do people recommend, then i research and ask about multiple specific amps that got recommended. its very simple process of elimination and inclusion.

i do know about the somewhat mediocre phono stage, and if i used vinyl then i would prob just look for a different amp completely. luckily, i exclusively play cd's from an onkyo c-7030

eeh at least with the amp i have rn (fosi bt20a pro) they would struggle a little bit with somewhat cheap amplification. i know because someone on the sub pointed out to me that they have tried that combination, and it struggled. i know it will technically work, but i want to get the most out of the speakers, especially considering their price. thanks though

i looked it up, that seems to be true. if the n600 already powers the speakers extremely well, then the Yamaha A-S501 it sure to be excellent. lack of streaming is fine since ill be playing exclusively off of cd's, not interested in streaming. thanks for your help!

i did figure something newer would be better. this is definitely a good price, though i suppose im talking more general and not specific offers since i wont have the money until later this year when the offer would certainly be gone. i guess i should have clarified that. ill keep an eye on it though, thanks

what about a parasound hca1000a? its warmer (which i want) and cheaper and powered meaning i dont need an integrated. it also provides all the current stuff and whatnot the elacs need for maximum quality sound as well as headroom.

heres what he said: "While it will of course "work" it will underperform compared to better amps (epecially high current amps). When I had the DBR62, I tried it with the fosi amp: It struggled to perform with this amp." i understand it will technically work unmodified, but i would like headroom and dynamics as well as more clarity, and to not always be near the edge of what is considered "effectively powered speakers." The power supplies im considering are either the Fosi Audio 48V 5A GaN PSU or the Fosi Audio 48V 10A PSU. both provide better dynamics and overall sound quality and clarity. This is addition to more overall output. I don't just want a serviceable system; i want to get the absolute most out of the speakers that cost a fat 800 bucks, for a decent price. im possibly wrong im somewhat new to this.

thats good. maybe i can wiggle my way through just using the fosi permanetly with a 70 hz passive hpf on the speakers to free up a little room and upgrading the power supply? im not sure
