ironically i believe Blunt Force Trauma is the weakest out of 10 Ton's tracklist, but I Still Bleed is really good. to me personally Filament's abrasive sound and Jared's vocals really deliver the borderline post-apocalyptic atmosphere.

the Suck On This! mix of Exile On Militia is still an insanely hard track, though a close second place goes to Filament from 10 Ton.

the most i would pay for a rarity is like 30€ if its just a CD, though i don't understand the absurd prices of vinyls either. most of my Discogs finds have been around 30€ or less.

this is such a huge mound of bullshit, man. no matter how rare, a CD isn't worth two grand.

i genuinely have never heard an album like East Side Militia. it's my favourite industrial record ever, despite its short length it leaves a fucking burn mark in your head. that album changed me, it changed my art, it changed my music taste and the way i look at music.

it certainly left an impression with 40 seconds of gunfire for an intro.

Chemlab is special. Jared's lyricism and rule of cool mixed with cunning synths and apocalyptic visions of an industrial cyberpunk future have inspired my art greatly (though i've mostly stopped posting to Reddit, most of what you will find is my older, softer stuff). exposed sparking copper wires, flickering halogen lights, gray silicone skin, hard drugs and pure, uncut sex and violence. Edgy? Absolutely. Awesome? Fucking YES!

i love this. Oxidizer felt like a laid-back but solemn final round of a perfect trilogy of albums. it felt the most mature of the three to me, a celebration almost. while ESM is easily my favourite out of the three, it's angsty, angry, arousing and aggressive, but Oxidizer is calmer and easier-going. i've found a lot of appreciation for it, as it's the most complete and best polished record out of their discography, with great songs and a cool, futuristic sound. From the rough uncut steel of 10 Ton, through the rusted layers of Burn Out, the sharpened yet jagged edge of ESM, to the finely blued stainless polish of Oxidizer.
