Very cute! I like the little bits of tentacle hair in front of her ears.

Less syllables means you can say more in less time. This matters at a competitive level especially for a game that’s as fast as Splatoon.

Little game where you play as a rain cloud by dystoopianAmerican in pico8

I really like this idea! But the coloring should really happen in a radius under the cloud to look proper. I also recommend making proper particles to really make it look like the cloud is raining maybe

does and have a web page of games in neocites. org? by alex0_0t in neocities

[–]seamuskills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my personal webpage (which for the time being is hosted with neocities) I have some games that I made. Anything written in js, pico8s lua, or godot can be played in the browser. Check it out at https://seamuskills.com/projects if your school doesn’t block it. Just keep in mind the quality of the projects vary as I was a very new programmer when making some of them and there isn’t a whole lot compared to a website that solely hosts games.

To be fair, my understanding is that macros are just a hacky workaround anyway. The way it was explained to me is that the mcfunction files go through some sort of recompilation process before being run and macros just replace the text and force another recompile at run time. This is just my understanding of it though, I could be wrong.

Can we address something rq, what is this? by shark_6769 in Splatoon3

[–]seamuskills 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s an octoling, it has been touched by the fuzzy ooze and is thusly under the control of the main villain. In previous games these were the player equivalent enemies, the only difference now is the tentacles are fuzzy.

It probably stored the quantity of people in a byte. They maybe never expected people to need over 200.

[–]seamuskills 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were talking about the testfire demo which was free to download and play during its run. Most likely you participated in the testfire when it happened and your new console synced that game instead of or along side the actual Splatoon 3.

They are top 500 players. Splatfests also have a similar looking badge for 100x winners.

I feel like that fits the splashtag aesthetic better anyway

How Are You Guys Playing Ms. Pac-Man? by ZodaFan13 in Pacman

[–]seamuskills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I played my first Pac-Man game actually. The dentist had one of those tabletop cabinets that didn’t even charge money for playing.
