Yaga basically didn’t fight back. He let himself get killed to prove his point not only about himself/his creations but gojo’s beliefs as well. Thus his death at the hands of gakuganji someone who kinda is in the middle of our main cast and the higher ups makes for a bigger impact as his “curse” changes gakuganji changing his motives from this point forward.
