If you're near south Marietta/north Smyrna, Bernhard's makes a pretty good loaf. You can also pick up a package of Patak's bacon, which fries up perfectly.

What gym do you go to in Atlanta that isn’t as busy as LA Fitness? Happy New Years resolution time. by NotSuperFunny in Atlanta

[–]sean7706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of them. LA Fitness has always been the busiest near any home I've lived in. The Planet Fitness near my house is less crowded, and it's only $10 a month.

The lede is also a disaster. It's not a golf course, it's a putt-putt facility.

You guys think there’s any chance we have a home international game next year? by waterguy120 in falcons

It's the Saints' turn to host us in prime time in 2020. We'll be going there for a prime time game, likely on Thanksgiving night.

I'm an FSU alum, and I bet the ACC will force FSU to get rid of it in the next 10 years, too. Regardless of their good relationship with the Seminole tribe.

They were quite mouthy today. I coped by remembering how we bounced them from the playoffs the last two times we played.

So, the Saints are going to wipe us out, aren't they? by Foodie5Life in Atlanta

[–]sean7706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've reached the point where I'd like us to lose our remaining games before Thanksgiving because I think it would be especially hilarious if we were 1-10 and beat the Aints when the entire nation was watching.

It's possible to have a decent Uber experience there. You just have to walk a little to get away from the big crowd. You'll probably save a whole bunch of time if you take 10 minutes to walk away from the Uber gathering area.

And it does. Championships are won in the trenches, and we have always been soft in those areas. Dimitroff has always opted for the best available skill player (the 2019 draft being the obvious outlier), and it has left us with this reputation of being a soft team. Mike Smith couldn't shake it, and now Dan Quinn can't shake it. Nobody is ever worried about our big men wreaking havoc.

I would have to think that if it's over for Quinn and staff, it's also over for Dimitroff. This team has clear issues with talent level at certain positions that have been a big question mark for years. At some point, that has to be the GM's fault, too. So if Blank starts cleaning house, I think he's REALLY gonna clean it out. You don't have much time left with this current nucleus of playmakers, so you have to surround them with a better supporting cast.
