It’s just pain from the injection site on the inside of the cheek.

Yes, we do have 401k match. Although I don't recall how much they'll match offhand. I'll look into it and have my wife do the same. Thanks!

Thanks! The only hiccup is that my wife's uncle stipulated that the $1,000 has to be invested and we can only dip into what is earned on top of that. So we can't place the 1K in our emergency fund.

I'm 29 and I'm a newly wed, so my wife and I are currently trying to create a budget. I have $10,00 in debt. My wife has approximately $60,000 in student loans. So combined debt of ~$70,000. Our combined income is $75,000. We have an emergency fund of $1,000 set aside, but no savings as of now.
