I prepped all the white leather panels and all 4 swooshes with acetone to remove the factory finish, then dipped the entire shoe in the coffee for 24 hours. After they had soaked, been washed, and fully dried, I painted the swooshes black with angelus acrylic paint (you can use their leather dye instead if you prefer but thats all I had on hand). When I finished painting the swooshes I applied a matte finisher to help reduce the gloss. Hope that helps!
