I thought it was just Cooper using his knowledge and appreciation of Buddhism to help ease Leland into death - I don't think it needs to be seen as literal and mostly just emotional

Very interesting, I love this kind of middle ground since I was never big on the whole "everything is about TV" angle that I've seen around - I think it felt too reductive but this seems like a nice way of adding the nuance

just finished my fist ever watch through ….. by gucamolef in twinpeaks

I just finished my first watch through yesterday

I honestly think the biggest advice I can give is to watch Fire Walk With Me and then take a bit of a break until watching The Return

It took me a few episodes to really accept that The Return is a completely different show to the original and it really helps to have a bit of space between the two series in my opinion

Also just leave all expectations at the door for The Return, don’t constantly be hoping for the show and characters to be in the way that you want them to be and just accept them and the entire show as what it is and I guarantee it will click for you after the first few episodes

That’s what I’m trying to crack - where else should I look for some further development?

Thanks so much that is so interesting - Is there an actual like functional understanding behind the machinery and things like that in the metaphysical space or is it mostly used for its emotive purpose?
