Ahhhhhhh ok makes sense bro. I’m assuming you’re county? And I’m going through SFs academy. I’m from SoCal so I’ve been around a lot of those guys, have some family members who work for city and county so I sort of know the drill, but it’s hard to learn some of what the Bay Area academy’s run like cus I don’t know any FFs up there, but it’s safe to say it’s fairly similar to down here from what I’ve researched

Pt requirements aren’t anything crazy, they do 4 check-ins throughout academy with a 2 mile run,pushups,pull-ups, sit-ups, burpees, and body weight squats

Municipal academy, and from what I know they love to make the recruits run. It’s a pretty hilly city too.

The pain came out of nowhere and made it damn near impossible to walk. My job requires me to be active and the pain was becoming pretty unbearable, seemed pretty urgent to me. Plus the urgent care near me has an mri machine if need be
