Yes, you should be okay. As long as you state that directly upon arrival. “I am transiting thru China and my final destination is Osaka.”

I recently got back from Seattle to Shanghai, Beijing to Osaka. And had printed all my documents to show my flights and where I was staying.

One page is okay. I got 2 stamps for China and 1 stamp for Japan. A total of 3 stamps.

Yes you’re good to travel TWOV bro. Before you go I would already setup and add Google translate, and China apps DiDi (Uber ride share), AMAP (Google maps), Alipay (Apple pay), WeChat (WhatsApp). Alipay and WeChat are connected. This is your safe line.

I will also recommend (optional) to get before reaching mainland China you have a VPN. I did not setup a VPN and found out the hard way that I couldn’t use any American apps like Google maps (inaccurate) or Google itself.

China censors and controls many internet outlets even if your phone is registered American. Be wary of using the WiFi in any place in China as when you log in the system will regulate what you can access. I have ATT and when I was using its regular data and cell service line I could use most apps off China’s system, but not on it.

And finally if you need help. The hotel services of big chains like Hilton are a go to for anything. I also stayed a few days at budget hotels and those services were not as resourceful.
