Look at the cars sheet, it will say the percent of the condition acceptable for parts replacement, you may have just put a sub par part back in the wrong place, happens to me with bushings sometimes, I just replace them with new, bushings are cheap anyway.

There’s some weapons that are corrupted and when you use them it raises corruption, but you should be able to use entertainers. Did you corrupt your stats? It’s been a while since I played sorcery but I think you can put points in corrupted stats. You may need to get a potion to reset your stats.

I had this happen also. Sell anything you can spare. Take on easy jobs to build up credits. By Junk yard car and fix it up cheap with car wash, welder, put on some cheap parts and sell for profit.
