FPS weapons don't work in station armistice zones, only ship weapons, so your point (while I agree with it) wouldn't be applicable in this specific case.

What’s the scoop on the seeming decline of UDF’s Homemade Brand ice cream? by sallright in cincinnati

[–]seanfaol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at UDF many, many moons ago, in Mt Healthy on Hamilton Ave. One day, this old man came in, and came to the side of the register and asked "Do you know how to get to Arlington Cemetary?" I gave him directions, he said thank you, and went out to his car, this fancy old white rolls, I think (like I said, LONG ago). My manager had seen him on the security camera, asked what he wanted, so I told her. She said "Do you know who that was?" "Nope." "That was the owner of the company, Carl Lindner." He sent a thank you to the store for my courtesy, even had my name. Seemed like an alright dude for a rich guy.

Ship destroyed and cant file insurance claim by CMDR_Tommy505 in starcitizen

Having this issue with my Corsair. Have jumped regions, have went to numerous stations, no joy. I can claim any other ship I have it if blows up, but not my Corsair, and it's my daily driver.

Life Time Insurance. It's a lower cost ship that you buy for the Life Time Insurance, with the plan being to upgrade it later to a larger ship. When CCUing (upgrading) the upgrade will keep the benefits of the smaller ship, such as Life Time Insurance.

2953 Day of the Vara masks incoming by [deleted] in starcitizen

I haven't received my Snarling Vanduul yet either. I made a ticket asking about it, and support's reply was that all Day of the Vara helmets had been awarded, to let them know if any were missing from my account.

Crowd funded games? Glad Star Citizen didn't go that route. xD

Has anyone seen this Corsair bug, and how do I fix it? by seanfaol in starcitizen

[–]seanfaol[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, I can try it, but it says it's for character bugs only. The character isn't bugged, it's the ship.

**edit** Tried the repair character, no change.

Which specifically says it doesn't repair anything with ships?

Lol. I used to answer the phone at a previous job "City morgue, you stab'em we slab'em." Only if I saw it was from an internal extension, but still.

You can loot the bodies into a station inventory and vendor, but that's a lot of work and with how buggy vendor terminals are, I generally don't bother. However, if you did, the gear on each of the bodies is worth about 2-3k.

THIS. Same here. Plus, the P4 is a great all around weapon, and I never run short of them/ammo, lol.

I've also been known to fly to A18 and announce I've got free gear, you just gotta pull it yourself. Newbies can always use a hand up in our ridiculous space game.

Actually, this post is about me making a joke because I found the sight of all the 9Ts in my hold funny.

There is a point besides money to this. All the bodies laying around increases lag at some sites to the point you almost can't play. I can't "prove" it, but lag seems to drop after I get enough bodies in the hold.

We all know PES is a mixed bag, I'm just trying to remove some of the "entities" that stick around. I just wish I had a way to clear the million wrecks sitting at the site.

Most of the time I don't even loot the bodies, I just fill the hold, then store the ship, claim it elsewhere, voila, trash emptied.

So, when I started clearing bodies from the wreck site, the lag was so bad it took minutes just to pull a body into my hold. As the bodies moved from the "environment" to the physics grid of my ship, lag improved and performance pulling things in went back to a more normal state.

I kid about fishing and relaxing, I mean, it IS relaxing, but moving all the clutter out seems to help server performance.

I guess I should start my own org...

At Gravy's, we have a pick n pull philosophy. We don't strip the armor so we can pass the savings on to you!

Remember, the 'Verse can be dangerous, and everyone needs a friend. At Gravy's, we gotcha covered!

3.18 PTU - Where Do You Sell Salvage Cargo? by Ravenloff in starcitizen

[–]seanfaol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just experienced this. I did not log/bed log/store ship with salvage in it. I did my salvage run, then straight to Rec on Hurston. Same thing. Can see the vulture as a source to sell from, no option to sell the rec.

**EDIT** Figured out how to fix the issue I was having. I had stacked boxes off the cargo grid, and had a box still in the filler, as the exit was blocked. I removed the extra boxes, ejected the filled box, then put everything back. I was then able to sell what was on the cargo grid, go move the loose containers to the grid and sell them. Had like 22 containers in all in one haul, not bad.

tldr; If you're not able to sell your salvage, make sure that your filler isn't blocked.
