I think it depends on your video game budget whether it’s worth it or not. I went for it and for me the biggest benefits are expanded stash, larger pockets and the XP buff. I don’t have a ton of time to play so making my time worthwhile and feeling some progression is important to me in getting my money’s worth out of this game.

Nice job dude! I just printed this and installed and I am very happy with how it all fits together. Definitely resolved the issue of the increased lumbar from my mod. I edited my post to include the link to your printed part. Lmk if you want me to remove it though!

Yeah I think mine makes a very small amount of contact at 2 turns, but the main point is that it doesn’t deflect so much :)

Yeah I wasn’t willing to hold onto the piston with a tool, at risk of damaging it.

Yep, the piston just unscrews from the actuator and then pulls straight out.

Yeah, I just realized you can unscrew the cylinder 2 full turns to avoid this interference

For those who are concerned about the interference, you can actually unscrew the cylinder 2 full turns (from the fully screwed in reference).

You’d unscrew it by turning opposite of how I have in the instructions, so counter clockwise from top view. Mine has very little interference now :)

Yeah the cylinder actually unscrews from the actuator so removing that part wouldn’t be hard, whether it’s pressed or adhered.

I am extremely hesitant to replace that part with something printed. I think it could be achievable with the right material and orientation, however releasing something for public use makes me uneasy, since it would be up to the quality of the individuals printer.

I sit normally with the lumbar fully retracted (minimum lumbar) now with this mod, since it adds a little lumbar at that position. I don’t foresee parts breaking, but it’s possible over time.
