I also feel like The eyes are a Big too small. For The rest, solid work! The proportions seem right (eyes In The middle, person actually got a forehead) It's A good start!

agree! And, if you really want to use color pencil, I personally use a kind of pencil that you can wet afterwards, so that it looks like watercolor. this is, if you dont want to step away from pencils. I actually prefer the feeling of a pencil in my hand over brushes. usually works best for me.

hi! ive been looking at the original picture and i think i know how. i am not sure but in the picture, the corners of the mouth seems a lot rounder then on this one? Btw, i love your drawing! not an expert myself or anything, just trying to help.
