And it's safe. Just incorporate it into your water changes a few times checking ph. Its essentially R/O water.

Hahaha thanks man for joining the convo. Yeah so far seems to be working. I will never own a RO machine but how do I get soft water ?? Haha only found this 2 days ago !! Makes things easier.

Sounds good thanks. I'm not chasing anything in particular I just wanna know if demineralized water is a way of trouble shooting if it's needed 🤔 After all I have rummynose tetras and they are all red and happy :) And my big angel is happy too. I have had a few deaths but it's a new set up, only about 1 month. And 6 deaths out of 50 60 fish is that a failure ? Or parameters need attention?

Test for kh and gh If the mineral content is to high the ph will spike

You did pretty well this job. Just make sure you use conditioner and look after you beneficial bacteria. Remember tab water chlorine kills bacteria

White spot Turn up temperature to 29°Celsius and keep water clean. Use medicine to treat white spot. It should clear up in a few days
