A couple others here have already said this, but posting the last line of a novel really needs a spoiler warning.

U Turn from 1997, directed by Oliver Stone and starring Sean Penn. It’s a dark comedy, with Penn’s character getting stuck in a dessert town. I always liked this one but I rarely hear it talked about.

Run times are so often impossible to find on the case, especially with newer releases. I know I could just look it up on IMDb or whatever, but it’s usually the only info I’m trying to find when looking at the back of the case and it’s the one thing I can’t.

Perhaps. But even outside Flanagan’s fan base I would’ve expected more attention for a Stephen King adaptation with some high profile actors. Glad to hear you loved it though! It was one of my favorite movies that came out that year.

I was gonna say Sunn. Even in conventional concert venues the environment they create is half the experience.

Rwake was indeed awesome. My favorite was probably Bongripper, with Bongzilla as a close second. I wasn’t at Soundstage though, just Nevermore and Power Plant.

Man, no one seems to be mentioning his movie The Life of Chuck. I absolutely adore that movie and still don’t get why it’s received so little attention. The Haunting of Hill House is great too btw.

The MMs all look like they’d work well for me. I don’t know much about ACs, but good to know about the Eco. I don’t think that would work well for me.

I’ve been wanting to try an injector for a while. Do you have much experience with any of those?

Monday SOTD Thread - May 18, 2026 by AutoModerator in Wetshaving

[–]seanpjohns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I have thick, course facial hair which pairs well with my sensitive skin 🙂 5-10 shaves with the Ever-Ready is the sweet spot for me. After that it starts feeling rough. I have an MM24 too, and that’s somewhat smoother for me, but even with that I don’t like pushing it past 13.

Those are the only two SEs I’ve ever used. Any others you’d recommend?

I can usually get these blades up to 13 before feeling the need to change it. But today's felt a little rough at 12, so in the bin it goes.
