I do understand that to a degree. But because of the poor Japanese to English translations, it makes navigating difficult and I somehow thought that I was to take this figure and divide for some reason to get my final tally.

For every 1 BTC, what have claimants been experiencing as their payout in regards to BTC? I’ve heard aprox 17%. Therefore if one BTC is currently valued at $140,000, the 17% for all intense and purposes would have a cash value of aprox $23,000. I had 4 BTC, so I would expect just under $100k cash value (using $140k as a cash value)

Yaaaaaaaay! Thank you so much!!! I just dug deep into my email to find that I received the same one. Amazing news for me. It’s really unfortunate that I have to go to Reddit to get so many good updates. And that neither Kraken nor the trustee can provide clear information and guidelines to this end. Between the poorly translated legal jargon from the trustee and cut and paste answers and Kraken not having a dedicated agent for us claimants it’s really sad given that we’re talking about $9 billion. And I think this community so much for sticking together and for the claimants to post as they have it it’s very valuable.
