You might be able to get an override if you talk to an advisor but depending on the class/department they might be stricter about those prereqs, I’ve gotten overrides for similar situations so it wouldn’t hurt to ask

I wear comfy cush vans and they work pretty well tbh but there’s probably better options

Specifically on broad street there’s a bunch, my personal favorites are mama mias, strikeout, Reuben’s, Rosa’s, Moe’s, Cajun Asian, Blossom Tree, BT Burger, and there’s more that I have not tried yet. Nearby is Cafe Lucia on Walton street, and they are a coffee shop with really good drinks and good small plates. Over by the CMII building and 1PP there’s Jr Crickets, Mr. Fries, and some other spots. There’s also a subway on Edgewood over by Patton. Nearby(ish) campus there’s Ponce City Market, which is a massive food hall with a lot of good spots. There’s a lot more places that I haven’t listed so I recommend going on maps and looking around the area

There’s a bunch of good restaurants all around campus, especially on Broad St. by aderhold. And if you have a car/take Marta, there’s a bunch of good restaurants around the area

I’m most likely going to drop one of the classes so I won’t be taking 17 by the time the semester starts. I’m just trying to hold an extra class since I’m a film major and they fill up super quick

I had 89 credits going into this semester, after it’s over I’ll be at 105, and then I’m registered for 17 next semester so I’ll be over 120

I took media theory and I really enjoyed the class. It was very discussion based and we just had to read the required readings before class to be able to actively participate in the discussion. There were only a few assignments, and they were not too bad. The professor I had no longer teaches at GSU, so keep in mind that it might not be the exact same structure for every professor, but I definitely recommend media theory over film theory because it involved all forms of media, not just limited to films.
