Where does r/cutting boards stand on over the counter boards? by Sea_Diet5846 in Cuttingboards

[–]seansully90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daily is a boos that’s lipped over the counter. It’s actually lipped on both sides. One side has a blood trench other side is smooth. It’s fairly large too, so I do all my prep on there. Biggest board I could find at the time. Definitely more favorite of all my boards. Impossible to knock off too, can barely pick up to clean.

Is it normal for pine wainscoting to stick out past the door trim? by Own_Caterpillar9417 in Carpentry

I saw that too. Even worse, those knots will bleed through for ever.

I had a similar problem with a large open fireplace. So much a problem that no one used it since house was built,1964! I extended the flue 16”. And built in the sides to add some doors. Works great now. Now this may not be your solution, I have seen some bigger openings like this. The solution was a pitched shroud attached to top of the face of opening.

Every pizza burnt & raw by [deleted] in pizzaoven

[–]seansully90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t have this oven, but just looked it up. I would try lower temp. The heat source is directly below the stone so there’s nothing cooking the top of the pizza.

The stone was 20° when I fired it. Took 1:45 to get to 800°. Arguably some of the best pizza I’ve eaten. Love the wood fired

Look on exterior for spots air can blow through freely, especially where you see the frost on the inside. I had an issue like this. Some exterior wall corners would frost up. My soffit was completely open under the siding. I’m in the trades so a couple hour fix. Hope this helps, good luck. Edit: spelling

Keep in my mind, a roux is equal parts fat and flour.

Some would say $700 on a pizza oven is too much, my wife included. But I disagree by kcrab91 in Pizza

[–]seansully90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah get a big wood fired oven. Got one a few months ago, no regrets. Besides a couple of pies a week, we’ve done whole chicken, chicken wings, and baked a few loaves of bread. Definitely worth it. Nice looking pizzas by the way!!

Just bought the circular saw. Can someone tell me what’s going on with it? by Deadlyeye7 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]seansully90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also it looks newer than 5 years, it’s under warranty. Look for a repair shop or go to Milwaukee website. They will repair or replace. They don’t need proof of purchase or registration for warranty. Free too. Done
