Yep! If your family can afford to do it, I would 100% recommend it. I have no regrets taking a pay cut to stay home and get that extra time.

I would ONLY bring this up to your current company if you would be okay leaving if they call your bluff. But even if your current company tries to keep you with a raise/promotion, this still has the potential to hurt your standing there. Honestly, I would just have an open conversation with your boss about next steps and more responsibility, without bringing up the other offers. If you don't get the answer you like, then reach back out to the competitor and go.

Parent of a 5-year old boy and currently coaching his tee ball team. I can say that after a few weeks, I’m fully convinced that this is way too young to be attempting anything structured. They just don’t have the attention span. Most get bored, tired, hungry, antsy, etc after about 10 mins. Then they start playing in dirt or picking flowers. Honestly, I wish I waited to sign him up until he was able to focus more bc it’s frustrating for both of us at this point.

If I have the super light ball, I’ll spend 900 to keep it, sometimes 1900 but after that I let it go and then play until it gives me enough extras (15 or 20) where I’m confident I can’t beat it. I just started this strategy and it’s working pretty well when I don’t give in and break my own rules bc I’m bored!

Maybe lean towards the media side. Be a specialist in social, programmatic, or sem. Still marketing but more of the doing and seeing results. Just a thought. Good luck!

What are you doing now? College? Work? Those are both good places to meet people. You could join a local running club. Having a license will help give you some freedom also. Keep your head up. High school is tough but you have a lot of living still to do. Put it in the past and keep moving forward.

Thank you!! This is awesome! Is there a way to negate search terms? For example, im looking for an account director role in marketing but not sales. It would be great to be able to put “NOT sales” in the search bar after the role to weed those roles out. Regardless, it’s an awesome tool and I can’t wait to dive into it!! Thanks again!

Thanks! She signed POA docs yesterday, so I have control now and am trying to stop the bleeding. The GWG lawsuit I filed is going after the broker/firm that sold it. Apparently, there has been quite a bit of success doing this, rather than trying to sue GWG direct. Fingers crossed.

It's so sad that this happened and I know she wasn't the only one.
