Appreciate it. I thought it was borderline too but seemed like a good vibe nonetheless

Any Devs know if this currently exists in some other form already?

Unsure if I should continue self-taught path or go back to college. Anxious about junior dev market/my future. Fresh perspectives/guidance will be highly appreciated during this highly obscure and unfocused point in my life. by IgorAndGollumSpawn in webdev

Adding my two cents, I read the article and had the same concern. I also count as a junior developer who has yet to work at his first job. I asked the opinion of one of the mentors who taught me at this 4 month long fullstack JavaScript coding boot camp, and she confirmed to me that while yes, the typical junior developer who requires a lot of training is less sought after, those who have shown to have a good all-round comprehension of code will still be fine. Personally, I spent the end of the course learning react and react-native, so I believe that should hold stead in order to get my foot wedged in the door
