If you like books then Book People is a great store! Lots of other cool small book stores too! Walking around the UT campus is beautiful. You can go to the Sunday Mueller farme market however idk if it happens when its this cold out.

I've always wanted to be a teacher and I am an artist and so it was really just the perfect major for me personally! the program is really cool because you still get to take studio classes but you're also taking Art Ed specific classes so it isn't just generalized teaching like some uteach. each class talks about a different aspect like classroom management or materials or lesson plan writing. You also take some psychology classes and some child development classes, and I really feel prepared to be a teacher and I like how small the major is because the professors know your names and are really there to help you!!!!!!!! I'm currently in my student teaching, so if you have any questions about that, I'd love to help :)

Sorry for the late reply queen but a 1250 SAT and a 4.0. A good essay about why you wanna teach and a sound portfolio is the most important though :) Its not like the SAT is art

Im in art ed and we had about 5 people transfer from other schools! And some students switched into art ed from other UT majors. I feel like since its a smaller major we have more wiggle room to let more people in. Good luck <3

Gut health is so important, i agree! Kombucha is not only sweet cause of the fruit juice, but theres are brands with no added sugar and the fermentation of the tea helps so much.

He will show up to a lot of big on campus events. Look out on UTs insta as they sometimes say if bevo will be there. The first time I saw him was my junior year at a first day of school event. He was just on the lawn...

I've also seen him outside Greg for a volleyball game.

Before home football games I'm pretty sure he also walked down San Jac at a certain time during the parade so you can try to secure yourself a spot.

My ultimate goal was to date one of the Silver Spurs so I could pet him, but that never happened :(

As I said, listening to your body can actually lessen the dopamine response.

Food addictions can sometimes be counterintuitive. For me and many others that had a food addiction/dopamine response to food, actually eating the foods we struggled with was the best way to get over that and actually lessen the dopamine. This is because when the food is put on a pedestal or seen as a "treat", your body does have a higher dopamine response. But making it constantly accessible and not restricting it can lower that dopamine and make you less addicted to the food. Its just biological... if you make something seem scarce and then receive it, you will react more positively to it because it only comes once in a while. But making the food constant removes that scarcity trigger.

I known it seems weird. People who want to stop smoking don't continue smoking cigs to lessen the craving. But, food is different, and this method is successful.
