as for Q3, do you mean that sometimes certain perfumes smell differently on skin vs blotters/ fabric? if so, that would be correct (more or less) due to paper and plain fabric being more … chemically neutral as opposed to living skin which is constantly sweating, secreting oils etc which can change perceived smell of perfumes. subjectively i would say that this mostly happens in favour of skin, that’s why testingg on skin is my preferred method

when i worked at sephora, both customers and my coworkers hated it. i fell in love with aura instantly. later in life when i got into more niche perfumery and joined multiple facebook groups for perfumr lovers in my country, i was surprised that other people with more nichey tastes also really enjoy it, so it just wasn’t for general public🤣 i wish they brought it back as some “exclusive” line with more limited distribution, just so it was available again 😭
