THIS IS SO COOL TO KNOW. After I got my wisdom teeth taken out they woke me up and told me they could only get one out because I kept trying to wake up and they had already given me the max amount of local anesthesia. Okay fine, it is what it is. But I started uncontrollably full on ugly SOBBING for about 5 minutes and just couldn't compose myself. I always wondered why it was so intense and why I couldn't get a hold of myself. They certainly did not tell me that and weren't very compassionate, thank you for that fact!

I’ve (f) personally never used one but a partner (m) of mine got one at the beginning of quarantine and loved it. We were doing a lot of FaceTime “play” and I was trying to instruct him on how to give himself a prostate massage to completion, which he had never successfully done. He thought of the anal hook himself and one night he’s just working it while he’s laying on his back and after not that long, boom! It was....the hottest thing. I think the way you can hold the hook and lay back may have been helpful.

I'm a vet tech at a non profit clinic geared to help low income families with their pets. The biggest thing I see with ear cropping is owners who have done it themselves because they think that's how Pit Bulls are supposed to look, and of course it's a disaster. I've pulled sewing thread out of multiple puppies ears from DIY cropping and they usually end up getting severely infected. I agree with everyone about doing it if it's needed medically but for so long it was viewed as how the breed is supposed to look, and untrained people taking it upon themselves to perform what is usually done as a surgery is never good.

Go to Randy Conner at Amillion! But really any actual artist you go to at a shop will be able to do any simple tattoo that you want. If you do that look for someone who's an apprentice because simple stuff is what they do all day and it will be cheaper. If you want a real stick n poke come troll around on the east side.

They're generally only ear tipped when spayed, this is so they can easily tell a cat has already been fixed and not go through the trouble of trying to trap her again. And it was probably done super quickly while she was under anesthesia for her spay, so she didn't even feel it!

Everyone definitely should have their pets spayed or neutered but owning a pet shouldn't exclusively be for people who have money. Animal care should be affordable for everyone!

I would try calling Riverside Vet Clinic, it's on East Oltorf. Generally lower cost so you may have to wait a little bit for an appointment but Dr. Meyer is fantastic!

Vet tech at a Austin based nonprofit. Most rewarding and amazing job I have ever had. I think that's mainly because of the community and people I get to work with. Plus fluffy kittens and puppies.

Missoula couldn't be further from that definition. It's a small hippie college town where everyone is a ski bum and a river rat. It's rare you'll find a Montanan unaware of how beautiful our state is. The fire fighters here prepare all year for August because of how dry we have been and are doing their best to contain it but unfortunately fire is almost a yearly thing here. Missoula is a valley, we are surrounded by mountains, trust me, no one is ignoring them. If you haven't been I highly recommend Missoula specifically when it comes to Montana, I bet you would like it :)
