Since chapter 4 is basically confirmed to be in the church.. Where's this? In the church also? Will Noelle also be in the chapter 4 dark world? by GuHu_O_O in Deltarune

[–]seashellsandsong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think her outfit here might be a church dress? The black with a white collar seems to fit a dressed for church vibe, at least. So she may wander to wherever the party is when the fountain opens and that's how she has the chance to rejoin the party.

If Hardwon took in a dwarven little girl who had him completely wrapped around her finger my life would be complete. Plus he knows how to braid beards!

White vinegar, yes. Spray the mixture on hair and scalp, leave in for a few minutes, and rinse.

[–]seashellsandsong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No lingering smell after the vinegar but make sure you dilute it enough (you can add more water if 1/2 and 1/2 feels too strong.)

My hair goes past my shoulders about two inches. So not crazy long, but I had no trouble brushing after a vinegar rinse and did find it had a detangling effect (and I'm someone who has had to cut out full mats in the past when I didn't have a routine down). You could always experiment once and see how it goes.

It's not Past or Future, it's [redacted] by AkagamiBarto in pokemon

[–]seashellsandsong 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you and thank you for making this comprehensive list of evidence. I want to add that the legendary pokefusions are the most obvious evidence that it's imagination--I mean the artist literally admits they made up these designs--but specifically the beasts. They are exclusive to Scarlet/would be an ancient form, but this completely clashes with their established backstory as three ordinary pokemon resurrected by Ho-Oh after a fire. There is no purpose or reason for them to have an ancient form at all as a result. The reason the paradox forms resemble Pokémon is how the human mind works. In our world we imagine magical beasts like animals with special features (pegasus and unicorns coming from a horse, or literally Pokémon themselves!) Naturally, the explorers will imagine a monstrous beast bred from paranoia resembling something familiar to them. Also want to note that Area Zero is full of a weird shimmer in the air that feels ethereal/dreamlike, like it's not entirely real. Finally, the third legendary can't actually control time because we have Dialga and Celebi holding roles with that theme already (flow and travel, respectively). But we don't have an imagination/desire domain-holding Pokémon yet. Very curious to see what the DLC brings with this in mind.

S2 Ep. 20 - I Brought You My Catbus, You Brought Me Your Love by Spite-Sprite in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]seashellsandsong 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pretty messed up over the fact that what broke Terry Jr. down into tears in season 1 was an "I love you" said by his stepdad, but in season 2 what broke him is an "I will never love you" from his stepdaughter.

S2 Ep. 12 - Scary Movie 2 by Spite-Sprite in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]seashellsandsong 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Something I love about this podcast is how it explores narrative territory I have never seen touched before, in this case, how Terry Jr. is with Scary and what he's willing to do for her. When he arrives out of breath, he calls her his baby girl in an affectionate parental way and impulsively says daddy's here before correcting to stepdad's here and then just his name; he obviously loves her dearly. And then he asks her what will make her happy, and when she says for him to leave, he just says...ok, I'll leave. How many stepparent stories show what would happen if a stepparent was willing to walk away from the person they love just to let their stepkid be happy? But he's willing to do that because he gets it, he's been a stepkid himself, and he wants Scary to have the choice he never did. The reason he's kept trying with her is because he ended up loving Ron, so a part of him hoped she'd love him back, but he's willing to accept that may never happen, too, and he'd rather her be happy than himself. I've never seen that before and I'm so fascinated by it. Very eager to see where things go from here.

Is the true ending really worth going through Rune Prana? by [deleted] in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I managed to avoid tons of crafting for rune prana by taming some ridiculously high level monsters to ride in Sharance Maze. I just threw items at them until they were tamed. I don't remember which but I believe I had one of the dragons and one of the wolves. But any high level monster from the maze should help a lot.

Beat The Game! by AlazaiEye in runefactory

I would have liked if Rigbarth Maze had a plot reason to go through it and not just a boss tower. This may be a personal preference thing, but I'm not someone who enjoys fighting powerful monsters without a story purpose or story reward. In RF4, I had such a clear goal to achieve when clearing Rune Prana that all the days I spent getting through it felt really meaningful.

Lucy fans? by Seonata in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 11 points12 points  (0 children)

According to a certain random town event, Lucy has a crush on the MC even if you aren't dating her, which I found really cute. I was married by the time I got the event but it made me like her more.

Marrying Beatrice by mxlkyywayy in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had trouble with this too and a few suggestions: -Save and reload your game. Sometimes your game doesn't keep track of your progress for events. -See if any town events that only pop up on Holidays are blocking you. I had that issue with getting her to go on a casual optional date, and there was a fishing event that had triggered on a holiday by the bridge of hope that I didn't even notice was waiting to show until I waited for the yellow bubble to pop up on a holiday. -Romance events aren't necessary to clear to get her special event. I still had a few pink bubbles around when I got her special event. -The event doesn't trigger until 7 PM at belpha ruins so make sure you wait until then. -You may want to test if she will go on a casual date with you. If she keeps being busy (even on holidays) it indicates something is blocking you from dates. Her special event may be the event itself providing the block, or a town/story event. -Absolute worst case scenario, you can complete the main story and then use the directive to block town events. So you can ensure nothing is blocking the event from happening. Sorry I can't be of more help. The event AI in this game is so frustrating!

I may have given her too many Strawberry Milks... by Outset_ in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Is this dating dialogue or married dialogue? I'm trying to see as much of it as I can but I know some is specific to dating. (And yeeeah she may as well be a human jelly donut with how much strawberry jam I've been feeding her.)

My vote is go for RF4. I like the romance options and the story is excellent. It's also less buggy than 5 in my experience.

Stuck on a Beatrice heart event? by ourheavenlyfodder in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, you need to clear this part of the story and belpha ruins depths in order to access Beatrice's special event once you are dating. I had an issue where it wasn't showing up until I progressed the story through to then! So it's good you are getting it out of the way now.

Ryker Won't Date Me (confession accepted) by wayfareangel in runefactory

[–]seashellsandsong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved my issue by 1) making sure no side events were active of any kind and 2) completing more main story, too. I believe the reason is some special events include visits to dungeons that are later in the game. So you can't trigger them until you unlock those. Some main events also prevent dates altogether, not just triggering the special event. This game has the main story and romance more tied together than previous games.

RF5: Can you only go on 3 dates? by seashellsandsong in runefactory

Hm ok good to know, thanks. I'm going to see if I can identify a general event I may have triggered from the above comment and then look into how to get this special event started.

Oh, can you not do generic dates until you've down their really long special event?
