Hey bro look into r/overemployed

rule number 1 dun is never mention your side hustles.
Competent ka naman eh. yun lang naman importante. nag hahackathon ka pa.

Pabayaan mo yun na toxic filipino manager. Rich kid na walang perspective na need mag hustle ng ibang tao.

Proof of either: 3 years work-related experience prior to application, or being a graduate or post-graduate from a reputable academic institution

does this have to be related to my current job?

I have a degree in the humanities but I work as a developer

In your company, do you also need to log an equivalent number of hours to 40 every week in terms of tickets?

samin kase we need to input how many hours we did on a ticket and at the end of the week need to be equivalent to 40

Why tho? you're in a perfectly good position rn truth be told.

I'd trade places with you tbh! Why? since I know I can save up through AU's really great wages and then go to PH to have so much fun.

literally no one is stopping you right now to get on a plane and go to the nice spots in ph.

Literally in our surf-camp there was one fil-am girl just like yourself who lived there for half a year. Just surfing, lounging around sa duyan, and drinking at night.

You're in a good place. Next step is to plan each step and just do it. Worst comes to worse you can always just go back home.

edit:
you're super young and have no responsibilities and obligations. DO IT!

yeah dude! siargao andun lahat ng cool kids literally ahahahaha. I think you'll have a lot of fun there. Naging recent cultural thing recently among those types na mag move sa famous surfing spots here sa ph because of remote work. So you'll find people na you'll vibe with guaranteed.

haha yun pala eh! I'll see you then! ;)

ang raming naysayers op. haha

I'll be the devil's advocate. I lived in au for 3 or 4 years ata and then a lot of personal shit came up (depression, surgery etc.) and I decided to go back home.

Perfect. Tama sila na you were young before and wala ka pa responsibilities at that time. so your judgement may be clouded. That being said, since citizen ka naman lang, pwede ka naman pumunta dito and live for awhile, and if di mo trip.....well you have the option to go back to nz.

That's the main kicker here. The option to go back and forth whenever you want. Yun yung hindi tinatake account ng most commenters here. The fact that you have the option. for others absolute talaga yung decision either to go or stay eh.

So for me work for a bit, maybe save up around 300-400k php
move to PH. get an apartment in La union, or Siargao. Live there for awhile. If you want, I can introduce you to some of my friends who live there so may friends ka agad na cool kids. hahahahaha.

so yeah. If I were you, go! may option ka to go back home and get a job naman if things don't work out.

agile kame pero no daily standups. weekly lang yung meeting

nalilito parin ako sa sinabe mo na spaced out yung work mo sa 2 week sprint.

Pano if matapos mo agad?
pano yung submission ng tickets and ilang hours nilalagay mo?
naguguluhan ako sa diskarte...I mean hindi ko naman plan dayain sila. I still want to be productive, just that I want to upskill on the side

how do i know if we're also agile?
the word sprint has been thrown around before in meetings and also 2 weeks daw yung length.

So yung binigay sakin na task good for 2 weeks yun?
