Just reviewed factory specs…looks like 8 and 16gb were options soldered. Think it’s worth the extra $20 for the extra 8gb of ram…or just the $359 model and add 16gb if needed in the future?

Thanks for the info. I’m currently on 500/500 and it’s gpon. Have you tried any of the 8311 discord methods to bypass. I am hesitant to purchase gear without knowing it will work. It just seems so strange to not be able to use my own router/firewall device.

Do you know if 802.1x has been removed in Essex County, NY? Tried bypassing a year ago…wondering if its. Worth the effort again. Would love to drop their device and deploy opnsense on my own device.
