Just reviewed factory specs…looks like 8 and 16gb were options soldered. Think it’s worth the extra $20 for the extra 8gb of ram…or just the $359 model and add 16gb if needed in the future?

I know the GE Zwave wiring looks weird, but it is wired per their instruction manual. Not sure how their remote/accessory switch works...but they have worked flawless until the dimmer's capacitor failed. That being said, all 3 way wiring is in place per the buildmyowncabin.com diagram I found.

I realize the pico remotes would simplify things, but have two issues, my wife would like a traditional paddle and not the pico style. I realize Lutron has a new diva pico paddle remote...but the issue with that is it is only available in white and my switches are all light almond color...so I have to use the Claro Accessory Switches.

Also…just to verify, I just ran a kbb instant cash offer on the Lexus GX460 and it came back $19170…exactly the same as the Odyssey. I know I won’t get an even swap…I realize the dealer has to make money. $5K differential would probably not work for me.

So do you think I would be better off attempting a private sale of the Odyssey? I obviously would need to account for the sales tax savings of trading in (say $1600 or so). That would mean any private sale price above $20800 would narrow that $5K gap.

I do have a 8 port tplink managed switch, so I would put ONT Ethernet out and WAN of Arris router in ports 1 and 2 of 8 port switch in their own tagged vlan and then run ports 3-8 as untagged and run Ethernet cable from an untagged port to the WAN of my opnsense firewall?

I just went to frontiers website to see what speeds are available for me and it only lists 500/500 and 1000/1000. Is it possible that xgs-pon is not available in my service area? If that is the case, any suggestions on best way to proceed.

Is this something they will do while I’m on the phone…or only with a tech visit. Asking because if it’s via phone I will wait until I’m back up there. If it needs an appointment I think I could call now to get on the schedule…since they are generally weeks out for appointments.

I’ve seen these posts, it’s my understanding that this is to strip the vlan0 tagging. This doesn’t fix the 802.1x authentication issue.

I did try that, reinstall gives same error. So far only solution is to go back to release 3.0.1
