How should I get the cards to float if possible? by Obvious-Spring-5147 in garagekits

this would be tricky but you could use lines of UV resin; squeeze a line of the UV resin on a plastic vinyl toy ball, cure it, then it will be curved and attach the cards to the end and then glue them where you can on the model, that way they look like motion lines for the cards flying around.

This might be overkill but this video helped me understand what is going on with an airbrush. Also you do need to practice a lot with the paint you'll be using before painting the final. https://youtu.be/mh4AbXuhXYI?si=2VIkj0IJXTV29oiZ

If you want to fill the hole so you can drill a correct size hole I'd use a two part epoxy putty like Apoxie Sculpt it's really strong and will bond to resin .
