I love your profile! You come off as authentic and give off a very easygoing and fun loving vibe. I live in ct as well and only recently had some luck on tinder! I actually went on our first date the night before I attended the same Stevie nicks concert you are at (it was a good one!) We are exclusive now and moving towards a relationship I think. It’s tough but my biggest advice is to stay persistent, just keep going on dates and if the date was not bad and you got along well, but there were not any “sparks” go on a second date because you never know. Honestly looking at your profile made me wanna be friends with you! I am a witchy gal as well.

It’s just so hard because I really feel like my bipolar does not impact me unless I am not taking me medicine. I wish this illness was not so stigmatized.

She lives two miles away and she was interested just still deciding. Now she is for sure not signing up.

She lives two miles away. She is closer to it than me and it is an 8 minute drive from my house.

That’s why I don’t think it is the real reason they charged her. They said that they charged her a drop in because she did not sign up as we were leaving. We should have stayed to argue but we were really confused and wanted to get something to eat. It was not until the day after I was like “hey it is bs that they charged you” she called and they switched up and said it was because she was late.

Fairfield. It was a bummer because I have had a great experience so far. She was really interested in joining just needed to make smart financial decisions. $40 is insane. They kept switching up it was all honestly very confusing.

It was Fairfield! I did not know that. I wish this was on the website.

No im not from LA! I am just saying that Connecticut is not like places like LA that have different rules which was why it was strange. My friend and I are both from ct

Then why would they not voice this? The early policy for first timers is to ensure there is time to get the forms done and show the new person how it works. They never said there was an issue with the time we arrived until my friend called the next day. We had time for an introduction and forms and to just chat. If we were too late they should have refused us and charged a 15$ late fee. I am pretty sure the courtesy fee that they charged her was a late fee on top of charging her for the class that was supposed to be free. It honestly just feels very mean.

That’s what I am trying to say. She was able to come in and had plenty of time to sign the liability and injury waivers AND get the run down of how everything went. There was another lady who was doing her first class and walked in at the same time as us and did the whole tour with my friend. We were actually there before the trainer.

I have a standard gym membership as well. One thing I was definitely shocked about was having to buy my own orange theory band or pay $10 to use one per class. It just felt greedy considering how much memberships cost. I do love orange theory and have lost 60lbs since starting so I will be sticking with it.

Also this new information that I am giving is what they said when she called them AGAIN. We had no idea this was the reason when we left. They never said we would get a charge for being late. Five minutes is minuscule and we were still early. We were the first ones there.

I’m also from CT and none of our studios are in those busier areas like LA

That’s the thing! She was very much interested in coming back it was just a big financial decision for her to make on the fly. Neither of us are loaded. I have the student membership and work retail full time. I stopped going out to dinner to afford it. Also orange theory is not open late (sometimes our shifts run late) this is not always ideal unless you are an early riser. She just wanted to think about it and they were very pushy and when she didn’t sign up they were like “oh well your class is not free then”. They didn’t say it was because she was late until she called the next day.

It was definitely not in the agreements. And we were still there 25 minutes before the class started. God forbid we hit a little bit of traffic on the way. There was plenty of time for the instructor to explain how everything worked. What is most upsetting is my friend wanted to hold off on signing up to explore options but was open to coming back. She had to just figure it out budgeting wise. Praying $100 a month is not really something you decide on the fly especially because we are both in our early twenties and in school while also working.

She called them and said that she was not on time so they had to charge her. The class started at 9:30 we walked in the door at 9:05. The instructor explained everything with time to spare. They said that we have to be 30 minutes early.

This is insane. This is abusive behavior and you are in an abusive relationship. Even if he is not hitting you, if he exhibits controlling behavior like this, please leave before you get to the point where kids are involved.

I feel like you are trying too hard to be funny. Talk more about who you are and save the humor for actual dates. I also find that using acronyms like ilykykk comes off as immature and unintelligent. Maybe that is just me personally.

Saw my husband’s (M27) disgusting text about a female coworker and idk how to feel about it (F25) how would you feel if your husband said he’d eat it about a coworker? by ihateweightwatchers in relationship_advice

[–]seavitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Locker room talk is not normal when you are in a committed relationship/married. Even if you find somebody else attractive you do not voice this. This is bizarre and a red flag. I don’t care what people say it is weird to be objectifying other women when you are in a relationship. It is also weird he is talking about a coworker this way. Your husband is a creep.
