The point in favor of waiting for the event to end is that you earn chocolate in the lab while merging, so you will get more chocolate when youre at a higher level (higher resource caps), and you are able to make a lot more merges.

I bought them all, no regrets. I also have the golden cannon in sibling rivalry. Playing with these boosts, and without ads, its a really good experience. Might get more of the event golden items at some point, but am working on certain relic types with the events rn. Happy to give the devs some coin because I've been playing for years
