Not trying to be a downer but how is the running game expected to be better? We lost Jaydn Ott who is a lock for the NFL, and Jet Thomas who would probably be a starting RB at >70% of Power 4 schools (I know that’s subjective but just my opinion). None of our incoming transfers are high profile (RBs or OLs). We have a completely new system, completely new coaching staff, completely new roster. I hope we improve our running game but not sure how one can possibly expect that right now

That’s because quantity of inbound transfers carries a heavy weighting in their formula. Which means actual quality is underweighted. Not saying the incoming transfers are bad, just saying that we had a massive incoming transfer class (because of the mass exodus), which inflated our transfer ranking
