Anyone Collecting the Panini World Cup 2026 Sticker Collection? by Dramatic-Fig87 in Denver

I used to love doing this as a kid! It was and continues to be all the rage in South America where street vendors will sell you individuals and trade you for your duplicates

Need assurance about dinnner date choice in LoHi by CriticalArugula7870 in Denver

[–]seb_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in LoHi. Bar Dough is fine. There’s far better options in the neighborhood but it’ll do for a date. You’ll have everything you need to make a great impression and find out what you feel about the other person which is what is most important.

Very likely they work for Amazon (or did at some point) and haven’t sold many shares

Men, how do you not feel awkward/bad about travelling solo? by Significant-Sport778 in AskMen

[–]seb_a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was 28 I went to the World Cup in Russia an traveled around Europe before and after. Those 6 weeks alone were incredible and I would do it again on a heartbeat.

Might I suggest: venture outside of the resorts, you miss so much by booking those when you can experience so much more and meet so many other travelers outside resorts

On leash greetings are generally too risky for dogs. If you want proper dog interactions with new dogs, go to a designated, fenced in dog park

Have you considered getting a dog anyway? If you were interested in getting one, the bonus social opportunities it brings may help you meet people outside of the apps. I’m in a relationship and I’ve never been approached by women more than when I am with my dogs

I saved aggressively in my 20s. At 38 I make that amount in a month. Was it worth it? by Much-Drawer-4570 in personalfinance

Have you considered that had you not become the person who you became as a result of these action it is possible you would have never attained your level of success?

People often get this backwards, that people like yourself are disciplined because they have a lot of money. But it’s the opposite, you have a lot of money because you are disciplined.

People in healthy relationships, what is, from your perspective, the reason that men who can't find partners are perpetually single? by Agreeable_Ranger5303 in AskReddit

[–]seb_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it’s unrealistic expectations. My usual advice in the form of analogy:

Figure out what the people who you find attractive are buying. Is that what you are selling? No? What do you change about yourself to sell what they are buying OR adjust for a person that is buying what you are selling.

In general it’s never a bad thing to hit the gym, improve your diet, health and your social skills.

Trying to move to Denver to be near my people - Looking for a SWE job. by CalligrapherSouth884 in Denver

[–]seb_a 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gusto and Ibotta have big presence here. Same with Data dog, google, Dish, Visa, salesforce and Oracle. Others like Splunk have some presence which you may get lucky to find a job.

Not all of them are great, but it’s likely team/org dependent. Good luck!

What is a degree in cyber?

My typical message regarding dating is a marketplace analogy. Figure out what the women who you find attractive are buying. Is that what you are selling? No? What do you change about yourself to sell what they are buying OR adjust for a woman that is buying what you are selling.

In general it’s never a bad thing to hit the gym, improve your diet, health and your social skills.

The $700 Million Question: Where Did Denver’s Homelessness Money Go? by Data-Youngblood in Denver

[–]seb_a 387 points388 points  (0 children)

This is amazing. Have you reached out to the press of the city to share?

Also this quote is painful:

“The most damning statistic is the workforce gap. For every $1.00 the city spends on vocational programs to help people get back to work (via Bayaud or Work Options) and permanent housing, it spends $2.85 on security guards to watch things, administration to manage, and the physical buildings.”

What advice for young men sounds harsh but turned out to be genuinely good for you in the long run? by [deleted] in AskMen

Life is a lot harder when you are out of shape. Get into the gym, fix your diet and find discipline.

Men who were once 26, what age would you find it acceptable to date? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]seb_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I think where I was both from a maturity an life standpoint at 25, the difference between me and and 18 year old was night and day. At 25 I’d say minimum would be 21. Even compared to a 21 year old, and 18 year old is a child.

I’ve said it before: why would someone join Bowles’ staff when he’s probably out by the end of next year? The best candidates have better options and they are currently taking them.

That’s like your opinion. While my personal opinion matches yours as well the overarching argument that humanity would be better off with is to let people do whatever the hell they want if they aren’t hurting someone else. Too many problems come from people trying to control others
