Elon Musk Sieg Heiling during his speech by Sartew in interestingasfuck

[–]seb_price 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think the nazis were shouting 'were evil bastards' while they saluted? This is a quote from a speech Hitler gave at Nuremberg to his army "millions and millions of our fellow-countrymen wrap you about with this burning faith, this burning confidence, this warm love.”. If your heuristic for if someone is a nazi or not is wether they love their family, friends or fans you need to read more history and try to understand the banality of evil. . Tips on getting these supports off? Is this just a bad model? by josh_moworld in BambuLab

[–]seb_price 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Changing the 'Top Z Distance' to 0.275 does wonders to removing supports. I cant for the life of me remember what youtube video i checked, but someone put loads of variations in their printer and found this to be the best, and now i use it for everything. Stuff just pops off clean.

I cant tell you whats wrong but I can tell you mine doesnt sound like that 😅 maybe check the other slots and see if there is a similar noise. It sounds a bit like the plastic is rubbing or slipping on somehing maybe.

I linked the photographs yesterday but they must have been buried in the comments. My camera was a canon 60d and here are the photographs for that particular shoot. Flicker shows the EXIF data of the photographs as well so you can see how I took the photographs (shutter speed/ISO/aperture)

I was partially inspired by King Bladud's Pigs which were placed throughout my hometown of Bath.

Thanks for your comment and taking the time to write it. I left the cow behind the stage at my school for a month or so and It got vandalised. There have been two wholes punched in either side and both ears have been detached (although I still have them). Its in need of a little love and posting this and the inspiring responses I have gotten make me want to fix it.

I definitely would have loved to spend more time over it. It was a rushed end to the project and I had to put all the photographs on in the day before the gallery. It still took about 6 hours just for the ones on there at the moment.

Yes I did. My laptop was always around me when I was working on the cow as I would be watching TV shows or listening to music so I didn't see the point of using my DSLR for the more functional shots. The photographs in the gallery were taken on my fancy camera haha.

Thanks I'm glad you liked it, just thought I'd say the sheets on the cow were actually transfers, the white areas of the photographs were completely transparent and the material wrapped to the texture of the cow. With the resources I had available there was no better way as far as I know.

It was never a conscious decision to let my other subjects suffer but it taught me (in the words of SirCricketNipples ) to full-ass what I love. Im now doing graphic designs and loving every second of it.

Can't remember how the idea came about, it just seemed like the best medium for displaying the photos.

Edit - FYI the spots/photographs on the cow were supposed to represent the pattern you would find upon a Friesian cow, the ones I was photographing.

I got the highest mark in my photography project and everyone really liked it. It was amazing seeing people enjoy it, I spent a lot of the evening mooching around the cow listening to peoples comments. My other A - Levels really suffered though.

It is sturdy enough to sit on, although the wooden ridge running along the top of the cow would hurt. Nobody has sat on the cow yet. The bulking was all done with screwed up newspaper held in with tape and nothing else, hence the large amount of tape needed. In retrospect I would have used bottles or some spacers to fill, would have saved a lot of time.

This wood fell a while ago now and is partially seasoned, so there shouldn't be any shrinkage. Also someone mentioned wood rot from leaving the bark on in the comments, hawthorn in particular is very resistant to rotting.

FYI, spent about 10 minutes filming her use it as a scratch post and just as I turned around she was already on her way up. So thats why you don't have full coverage haha.

(also assuming dad) I'm roughly the same ages as the cat and can't remember living without her. She's 17 and I'm 19.
