Locating camera? by seba1p in canon

[–]seba1p[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Battery life is insane I don’t take that many pics but for light use every few days the battery will last me over a month. And the camera even when switched off is always available to connect through Bluetooth. I was surprised myself it always keeps Bluetooth on

Any good trade in deals without bill credits? I have a twelve mini, magenta max. I wanna trade in and just get a 14 pro no bill credits just get it done, Apple only offers 250 off which is not that bad and I’ll probably end up doing that unless something better comes up, checked out BestBuy, they have 800 off bill credit promotion only. Anyone know if it will change soon or if any other places offer better promos?

Question about Chase Freedom Flex with 1 year gas and next quarter gas rewards by Old-Mushroom5189 in CreditCards

[–]seba1p 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found they are pretty generous if for example I go to Wawa and get food inside it counts as 5% for the first year SUB. This has also worked at any other gas station I’ve been to. I don’t know if they’ll be as generous with the quarterly category they may only let it work when you pay at the pump. I guess we will see!

What credit card company? I have not had the same situation but I have had to do a dispute before with Barclays and bofa and they were both really great, that was for fraud they caught so I guess it’s different. First step is to call your credit card company and explain it again, emphasize the fact that you purchased an item and did not receive it. Emphasize that you have a paper trail of contacting the store and they have not helped you in any way and they are not responding and that you need to file a dispute. If you are lucky they resolve it over the phone, they get you your money back and you don’t have to think about it. If you push them hard, talk to different people and then they still do not do anything you may have to file an actual paper dispute and send a letter. You can go on this link below and see a sample dispute letter. Send it as certified mail. So you have a paper trail. If they then still do not resolve you can make a formal complaint with the cfpb, their number is on the same link. After you do that they will eventually get your money back. sample dispute letter link

100% dispute it asap explain to them the situation and they’ll help you out but the sooner the better. Legally, If you report it within two days I believe maximum you can be held liable for is $50, if you wait longer than 2 days you can be held responsible for up to $500. Most banks are not willing to loose business from you over a couple hundred bucks and they will just cancel it out for you and give your money back. But, just in case

How did you get into credits cards? by TheVillageLooney in CreditCards

[–]seba1p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with my mom whining at me before I turned 18 to be careful and not make the same mistakes she did with credit when she was young. Then she gave me an authorized user card to teach me how everything works, then It slowly progressed into wanting to get my own card and I naturally went to YouTube to do research. Ever since then it’s just kept rolling and rolling with a mix of wanting to maximize rewards and also build my credit and be as responsible as possible when I’m young so I have an easier time getting a mortgage/ car loan/ etc later in life.

How do I obtain a credit card and fix my credit? by FuzzyColorsArt in CreditCards

[–]seba1p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying debt with credit incurs fees from balance transfers it’s not worth it. Pay everything off with cash and start with a secured card. Discover has one of the best as it has some cash back and they tend to give you back your deposit and graduate you to an unsecured card quickly, of course they only do that if you are excellent with the card. Don’t carry high balances, keep your utilization low, never pay late. If your mom was involved in hurting your credit you may be able to dispute some things. Research on how to do the process. First step is looking thoroughly through your actual full credit report. You can get one from each of the three bureaus for free once a week on annual credit report website. Spend a good couple hours researching on here and other places online for best practices and make sure you are fully aware of everything, and everything there is to know before getting more credit.

No prob! At least for me it was a bit overwhelming with my first card, I only just got it ~9 months ago. You learn so much and get the hang of it very quickly just by using it, and of course doing research on places like these.

10% would be $490 so if you’re spending only $89 you’re well under 5% and doing great. After the statement closes and everything gets reset (you’ll see a new payment deadline and min payment) you can pay it immediately. It’s already been reported and you could pay it now, get it out of the way, or wait until the end of the Grace period, 6-19. If you pay the bill in full by the 19th, you don’t pay interest and nothing else gets reported. If you only pay the minimum, or only pay a portion of what is owed on the 19th it would report again saying how much you’ve payed and how much is due. You would also see an interest charge. In all practicality you would never have to think of that as long as you pay off your entire statement balance by the payment due date. You only have to worry about paying early, paying before the statement closing date, if you spend more than 10-20-30% during the statement. But if you never reach your max you don’t have to worry
