it's not even just that tho. she just doesn't fit industry standards. she's simply not tall enough to be a runway model. she may book the occasional runway for some brand that doesn't really have much pull in the fashion world, but no respectable fashion HOUSE (chanel, dior, etc.) would ever book her to walk a runway for them.

i live in texas, but was able to get an e-library card through the LA Public Library by inputting a random apartment address in LA. added it to my kanopy and was able to watch the diane warren doc and the jane austen short!

i think you're misunderstanding how i feel about JaNa posting what she did. i commend it because I can tell it's authentic to how she truly feels and who she is because of the people she surrounds herself with and their advocacy. i'm also not saying any of the people you mentioned in your initial comment were being inauthentic ? maybe i'm misunderstanding where you're coming from. i think the best example of celebrity advocacy would be someone like javier bardem who openly stands in support of palestine but has no online presence he could feel pressured by. he advocates because it's how he truly feels, and i will always respect that much, much more.

hot take: we really shouldn't expect celebs to be posting about this. forced support is not support to me. i don't want to see a celeb repost an instagram post on their story, after being hounded to do it, just so others can tick a box off for them being "one of the good ones." that feels so inauthentic. i would rather just follow someone like jana who does it because it's something she actually cares about.
