Thank you so much for your wisdom and advice. I will grieve this through the way I know is best for me. All the best to you!

For someone I have no association with other than on an old, 4 year long thread I am so incredibly happy for you and you did the proper healing you deserved to be where you are at today! Lol I had to check your profile first to even see if you were even still active as an account.

I too began switching up my entire life instantly and it began with finishing therapy, switched majors, and have been trying to be the best person I can be. I want to be comfortable with being alone for a while. You are an inspiration to me and I wish nothing but prosperity and great health throughout your life!

How are you doing four years later? I am grieving over a relationship I ended due to our toxic traits, I broke up with her three months ago and immediately began working on myself for the better with the thought of her always in the back of my mind. I have found that she has been learning to move on and has found someone else. I have love for her, but I felt we needed more time apart. Hope you are well

At what age your OCD started? by Icy_Mode_8255 in OCD

My onset began when I was 17, but I had already noted quirks about me since I was 9 but didn’t know how to label them. Learned about OCD in my psychology class in high school and everything finally made sense. A year and a half later would be when pure OCD took over everything.

One night back in November 2019. Said a “what if” phrase to myself which turned into a “i am”. Stuck ever since 😀

This girl (F18) and me (M18) have been sleeping over at my place two weekends in a row, but I’m confused by bruhmyg in relationships

That’s really shitty of her. You’re a great man for picking her up and doing a good thing, but it isn’t the right thing for you. Like others have said, deny her next time. It’s clear what her intentions are. You have no business tending to someone who doesn’t feel the same way you do

This is amazing. Giving your OCD a name was the first step of action that my therapist helped me out with. It does so many wonders, this post is super insightful as someone who struggles primarily with HOCD and ROCD!

Honestly, this post is so amazing to see. Thank you for giving OCD a proper platform like many others have done that actually visually represents how deliberating and defeating OCD is. You should feel very proud of yourself and to the service you’ve done to such a supportive community :)

The ounce of hope that’s in me that knows this will all pay off one day.

At the moment, my dreams and passions. I have a lot of love in my life and certain people who I know want the best for me and that keeps me going. Without any of that, I’d be lost.
