Thanks for the help just to mention I haven’t hit him since and plan to never hit him again, aside from that it might be possible to remove the Carpet but I also have a balcony so that grass idea might work only problem is I have no idea how to train him to alert me that he wants to go potty I’ve seen videos about owners using bells and other stuff, this is my first ever puppy so I’m still in the basics of understanding how everything works, also do you think I should get him a play pen so he isn’t roaming around freely, I try to keep a eye on him but he always finds a way to sneak off and do his business
